About Me
I’m Heather Davies, a content and copywriter for purpose-driven organisations. I’m passionate about engaging people in sustainability and am a co-founder of the Re-Action Collective.
Motivated by my love of nature and outdoor sports, I’ve always gravitated toward sustainable practices. In 2021, I made this commitment official—earning a Certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge and pivoting my marketing and communications career toward sustainability storytelling. Since then, I’ve deepened my expertise by becoming Carbon Literate and a certified Carbon Literacy Facilitator, equipping me to help others understand and act on climate impact.
Day-to-day I work for purpose-driven organisations including global businesses, SMEs and non-profits, communicating their sustainability credentials and social impact strategies without greenwashing or purpose-washing.
As co-founder of the Re-Action Collective, I work with 60+ organisations around the world, amplifying their work as they repair, repurpose, resell, share and donate outdoor gear to keep it out of landfill and in action for longer.
Outside of work, I try to get outdoors as much as possible. Living in the French Alps, this involves hiking, cycling and snowboarding in the mountains, paddle-boarding in the lakes, walking our dog and tending our vegetable plot.
